When can I enroll? How much will it cost?

Does my employer offer coverage? Do I qualify for HUSKY?

Answering these types of questions accurately is crucial in making an insurance selection for you and/or your family. Unless you qualify for a special enrollment period (marriage/divorce, birth of a child, change in address, etc.), consumers may only select a health plan during open enrollment, between November 15th and January 15th every year (unless enrolling in employer-sponsored health coverage). Things that will determine the cost include: household size, age of each household member, estimated annual income, and county. Projecting an accurate income is very important and if it's done incorrectly, can cost consumers thousands of dollars paying back Advanced Premium Tax Credits.

If you've recently lost your job and/or your employer-sponsored coverage, you may want to take a look at all of your options before selecting COBRA coverage. COBRA is usually very expensive, but an easy outlet in a difficult time to make sure you and your family have insurance. If this is the case, please contact us and we'll take a look at all the plans that are available to you. Many times, these options are more affordable than the cost for COBRA can be.

We've specialized in Marketplace health insurance plans since their inception with the Affordable Care Act in 2012. Over the last 12 years, we've adapted to the many changes that have taken place on both the federal and state levels. Without the expertise of an experienced broker, the Marketplace can be a scary place. Not just selecting a plan, but making sure documents are submitted on time and in legible formats, making necessary changes to the application when there are changes in income, household, etc., and dealing with issues that require further escalation process in order to resolve. Throughout the course of the last decade plus, we've taken on these challenges for our clients so that they don't have to. Our very high success rate in resolving these issues is a testament to our experience working with these plans, as well as knowing how to navigate the Marketplace seamlessly.
